L3cities has developed hundreds of detailed daily diaries that capture how people of different ages, abilities, incomes, and household structures live, shop, interact, move, and experience environments. Each project is populated with a unique virtual community
Behaviors of virtual inhabitants or agents provides insight into population experience and interactions with one another to support design strategy and developer opportunities. Individual personas and their corresponding daily diaries are generated by sampling target existing populations or composed from industry demands and employer hiring requirements and their dependents. When sample population are identified or host industries are determined, AI-enabled processes are used to generate urban populations and their emergent qualities.
Virtual populations and their daily diaries are used to scenario test interventions in existing urban contexts or greenfield proposals using Agent Based Models or ABMs. My simulating population activities, aggregated states or dynamics of large populations can be measured and visualized to provide insights to stakeholders.
L3cities urban behavior simulations provides strategic insights for policy makers, the development community and designers alike.
