L3cities is working with a team of design professional, engineering teams and municipal administrators on the assessment of more that 400-municipal buildings and public parks. The goal of this work is to assess and categorize public venues to understand if they are under or over utilized and where new facilities are needed or where consolidation may be needed. L3cities is developing a simulation model that includes high-fidelity mobility data, Point of Interest  survey data and US Census information to generate nuanced model of existing use patters. With this model, L3cities will work with stakeholder groups to expose different scenarios and their impacts on community accessibility.
