The Shenzhen Xiangmi Hu Urban Simulation Platform by L3 Cities (2021 Phase-I, and 2022 Phase-II) has enhanced urban planning at the Shenzhen Xiangmi Hu Innovation district through advanced simulation tools. Addressing Shenzhen’s critical global challenges such as population growth and climate change, the project focuses on creating sustainable, high-performance urban areas. Key features include a Virtual 3D environment, Data Observatory, Interactive Design, and Data-Driven Simulation with improved metrics and visualizations. Designed for master planning, evaluation of urban proposals, and public education, it emphasizes the “15-minute Walkable City” concept for more livable and environmentally responsible cities.
